Welcome to an imaginative and dynamic homeschool circus arts program designed to introduce students to the wonder, skill, and creativity of the circus world. Through guided instruction, hands-on activities, and collaborative exploration, learners will immerse themselves in the playful realms of juggling, acrobatics, performance design, and more. This program thoughtfully combines physical education, performing arts, fine motor development, and creative expression into an engaging and enriching learning experience.
In this high-energy class, students explore a variety of circus disciplines through safe, age-appropriate activities tailored to support their developmental growth. Each weekly session focuses on a different area of circus arts, allowing students to build body awareness, balance, rhythm, coordination, problem-solving skills, and artistic expression, all while having a fun, imaginative, and exciting time.
The class emphasizes encouragement over perfection, helping students develop resilience, focus, confidence, and a strong sense of supportive community where every learner can shine in their own unique way.
As students progress, trainers carefully observe their developing abilities and readiness. When a student has demonstrated the necessary skills, confidence, and understanding of the foundational techniques, and the trainer feels they are ready, the student may be invited to participate in after-school classes. They will be thoughtfully placed into the class that best matches their skill level and stage of development.
This pathway may include placement into intermediate troupe or advanced troupe classes, provided there is available space. Participation in these additional classes is entirely optional and based on the wishes of the child and their parent, guardian, or family member. This ensures every student continues their circus journey in a setting that inspires growth, creativity, and continued joy in learning.
